Alastair’s distinguished career has seen him work at several prominent Glasgow firms, where he honed his skills and became known for his pragmatic and meticulous approach. He has played a key role in mentoring and training Trainee Solicitors, shaping the next generation of legal professionals.
His passion for justice is evident in his work representing whistleblowers and victims in high-profile child abuse inquiries, always advocating for Pursuers and ensuring that justice is both served and seen to be done.
Before joining Oakwood Scotland Solicitors, Alastair held the position of Senior Solicitor at Gildeas, where he managed a diverse caseload of Road Traffic Accident (RTA) cases and civil matters.
His dedication to client-facing roles and his advocacy in the courtroom have earned him the respect of colleagues and opposing solicitors alike. He has a deep commitment to helping people, including veterans and others facing challenges who may not have access to legal support.
